Thunderbird Tactical Inc. is an upscale retail firearm business. They offer customers specialized tactical firearms and equipment at competitive prices. They also stock equipment for law enforcement and security personnel. The facility can provide customers with training classes on firearms, self defense and concealed carry. They will sponsor tactical shoots and events in our area.
Thunderbird Tactical Inc. is owned and operated by Ryan and Jenny Pennock. The business is the result of over two years work and planning. Ryan has been involved in the shooting industry for over ten years. He is from the Hutchinson area where he was a business owner prior. Ryan has been all over the U.S. hunting and fishing. His ability to interact with customers at any level is essential. Jenny is veteran of customer service in the aviation industry and brings considerable expertise with her. Her passion for the shooting sports and eagerness to learn is a natural fit with the business.
This experience has allowed Ryan and Jenny to develop a new model for the typical “gun store." Thunderbird is not a cave or industrial shelter that houses dusty guns and uninterested, rude employees. Ryan and Jenny wanted to bring a whole new level of customer experience to Wichita. Thunderbird Tactical was designed from the ground up to be very upscale feeling. The store is very bright and clean. Firearms are cleaned before being displayed and at regular intervals thereafter. Every care is taken to avoid any damage to them before a customer purchases them. The store is a unique atmosphere that welcomes customers in and encourages them to stay. Customers can enjoy a cup of coffee and sit and chat with the staff. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, catering to the customer’s needs and desires. They believe the difference is in the details.
